Paying your accommodation fees

How they work and how to pay

We know that paying your fees isn't the most exciting thing to do, but it is important. There are a number of tasks you need to complete before you join us on campus, so you're ready to start and can access all systems during your first few weeks. 

All your payment instructions can be found within your formal offer, but for a simpler version, you can see them below! 

If you need to pay your accommodation fees, you can do so via NottinghamHub (MyNottingham):

If you are looking to pay your 26/27 accommodation fees, these will be available on Nottingham Hub from Friday 28th August.

How much will I pay?

Your accommodation fee will be in your accommodation offer. The amount due each term will also be shown on the Accommodation Portal, where you are allocated to Dagfa, Eviton, University Park or Jubilee Campus.

2026/27

*Students who rely on a Student Finance England (SFE) maintenance loan to pay their accommodation fees can make a minimum payment of £250 by 11th September 2026 to secure their room. This will then be deducted from your first period instalment, with the remainder due on or before 2nd October 2026.

Alternative Payment Plans

*If you are relying on an SFE maintenance loan to pay your accommodation fees, please ensure a minimum payment of £250 (plus a £250 damage deposit for students staying at Broadgate Park).

We do offer alternative payment plans for accommodation fees. If you require an alternative payment plan, once your fees have been uploaded to your NottinghamHub portal, please email sas@nottingham.ac.uk with your Student ID number, full name and alternative payment plan required:

• Equal Instalments: Reservation fee of £250 (all students) PLUS Damage deposit of £250 (Broadgate Park students ONLY). The balance of all accommodation fees to be split equally into 3 instalments.
• Monthly Instalments: Reservation fee of £250 (all students) PLUS Damage deposit of £250 (Broadgate Park students ONLY). The balance of all accommodation fees is to be split into 9x monthly instalments (Undergraduate) or 11x monthly instalments (Postgraduate) to be paid on the 1st of each month throughout the academic year.

The deadline for term one is due before your contract starts, so you need to make the necessary arrangements to pay before the beginning of term.

If you have any worries or problems, particularly if you're dependent upon Student Loan Funding or have not secured your visa, please contact your site provider directly to discuss possible payment plans:

• Student Visa Route Applications: Students who are reliant on securing a Student route visa should not make any payments until their visa has been granted. If a visa has not been secured by the first payment date, please email Student Account Services.
