Parking on campus will be free during the arrivals weekend, as long as the vehicle bringing you to campus is registered in advance.
The University has introduced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras across campus, so your vehicle must be registered before you travel. Vehicles that have not been registered may receive a parking charge notice.
Please share the registration link with the person driving you to campus and make sure the vehicle details are submitted before arrival.
Forgot to register before you arrive? Don’t worry. You’ll also be able to register your vehicle on the day by scanning the QR code at one of our Welcome Points.
Parking during the academic year
After the arrivals period, ANPR cameras will continue to monitor parking across campus. If you bring a vehicle to campus during the academic year, you will need to follow the University’s parking regulations, including any relevant permit requirements or parking charges.
You can find more information about student parking and permits on the University website.
