The African continent is a hub of diversity and our fabric work is no exception. From the Kikoi of Kenya to Ghanaian Kente cloth, every region has a different vibrant textile heritage that reflects its history and craftmanship. This event invites students to take their art beyond the canvas and create a square of fabric that is representative of what they believe black traditions are or should be! We will then display them tied together to represent our interwoven student experience!

Come and use the textile to make your own book mark or  tote bag
