Jewellery in black communities transcends simple adornment - it has deep ties to traditions, rituals, religions and trade. This crafting workshop has been designed to go beyond the beauty of the craft to truly understand the deep cultural ties that our black students nod to when they don various articles as well as the sheer skill that goes into maintaining their traditions.
